Book Baby Shower

We had a book theme. We had everyone bring a book signed to the baby instead of a card and that made for a great keepsake for the baby. We gave out books as party favors and prizes (as everyone loves to read) and we made a book on "parenting tips" for the mom and dad to be where each guest got to add their own tip on a page!

It was so much fun! We played games where you had to "name that children's book", etc. Everyone said that they had never been to such a clever shower and were very impressed!

In Honor Of Your Mother Book

I think a very meaningful Baby Shower Idea is to construct an "In Honor of Your Mother" Book. Each guest is given a page in which to write what they want to say about the mom-to-be, for instance, how they know her, some fun times they have had, things they have gone through together, what special traits she possesses! This will be gathered together into a book.

This book will be given to the child in the future to keep and will always have in memory of his or her mother!

Baby Book Shower

There is an adorable site called My Book Stork that is a baby book registry. It has all the must have books for your baby and part of the profits go to various charities. They send out really cute announcements for your registry. I loved it! No duplicate books and you have a full library for your baby. My sister and I have both used it. I was very pleased with this site www.mybookstork.com.
