This is very decorative and you get a diaper cake to match. It's a surprise shower and the mother to be loves the care bears. She's having a girl and they have never seen a diaper cake.

Here are some ideas we put together to help you plan your care bear baby shower. A care bear baby shower theme is a perfect way to let your friend know that you "care".

Since she loves care bears, I would ask her husband or someone close to her if she still has care bears. If she does, you can secretly kidnap them (with the help of sneaky family members) so that they can also be there for her surprise baby shower. They will help to add a festive touch to the shower, and be there as her closest childhood friends.

Bring her favorite show back to life by decorating the room to look like the care bears show.

Decorate the room with bright colors of the rainbow, just like the colors of the care bears. You can take colored paper and create a big rainbow on the wall behind the food or gift table. Create clouds to decorate the room. You can put clouds on the wall and pillows on the floor to make it feel like they are on the clouds.

A little about the care bears...Their city is called Care-A-lot. Their meetings are held in the Hall of Caring, and the Forrest of Feelings is where their cousins live. You can label different parts of the room to go with the Care bear city.

Make a caring meter to place on the wall. At the top of it you can write "We Care!" Fill in the meter to show it bursting out of the top.

I think your idea of a care bear diaper cake is fabulous and will add a lot of fun to the shower. Use care bear tableware to match the theme. You can use a solid color tablecloth and utensils to show off the cute plates.

I also checked Ebay and found invitations, games and favors with the care bear theme. (I also saw some diaper wreaths and diaper cakes for sale that have the care bear theme.)

For games to match your theme, you can create a care bear trivia or match up to see how much your guests remember about the care bears. You can also play a care bear bingo in which you use the symbols from the bellies of the care bears on the bingo cards.
