Mini Honeypot Favor

Absolutely fabulous! I just love this mama-to-bee baby shower favor idea sent in by Gayle. I love the cute label she made to go with it. It would also go perfectly with a teddy bear or Winnie the Pooh baby shower theme. Thank you so much for sharing your idea with us Gayle!

I actually got the idea somewhere online, at a website where you could order miniature honey pots with the words "Mother to Bee" on them. The shower was being held at a tea room, so I thought the honey idea would be perfect. I decided to make the jars from scratch (as "from scratch" as I could), and also to personalize them.

I ordered miniature honey jars from ebeehoney.com (they were extremely accommodating, and the jars were very affordable), and got the labels (Martha Stewart), dried flowers, rubber stamp and ribbon from Michaels. With a very fine-tip pen, I personalized each label with my friends name and a small bee stamp, and then tied the flower on with a ribbon. That's it! They were a little hard to transport because the dried flowers were so fragile, but I managed to get them all to the shower intact.
