Baby Shower Train Cupcake Tower:

I am in LOVE with this adorable baby shower train cupcake tower sent in by our reader Linda. So A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! I love the idea and the design. Thanks for sharing it with us Linda!

Linda's comments:
I made this for my niece's baby shower. I thought a train cupcake tower would be fun since she is having a boy.

The top cake is 8" and is chocolate with buttercream filling and covered in fondant. The train on the cake is gum paste and the baby is gum paste as well. I made the train engine, baby and train tracks a few days ahead so they would be dry and easy to work with on the day I assembled the cake.

The cupcakes were red velvet cake, chocolate cake and lemon filled French vanilla cake and topped with buttercream. The train cars are made of gum paste and filled with jelly beans. The train tracks are made of gum paste and the rails are piped with royal icing.
